Yandex' OTT service "Yandex TV" has its CDN infrastructure that provides broadcasting for more than 50 connected TV channels. They are very concerned about the service level while starting with their new video advertising platform strategy. Teleport technology aimed to find out the possibility of improving the quality of broadcasting on the existing infrastructure and indicate reserves for further growth.
As a result of integration, Teleport showed a 40% reduction in infrastructure needs. At the same time, up to 30% of the bitrate was redistributed in favor of higher quality available to the viewer.
